Jim Nicholson is the club's liaison with Land Rover.
    Email address is pres@rangeroverclubnsw.asn.au

It appears that the LR GM thinks that AULRO should use the club liaison man. Can't do any harm to maintain the pressure by continuing oiling the squeaky wheel I guess.

    Try the Range Rover Club.
so a guy called Jim Nicholson is in charge.

    I wonder what a
"General Manager, Communications and Public Relations
for Jaguar Land Rover Australia" does then??

    call England a lot?
Wow that was short and sweet
You can only guess these guys do not share the passion of the brand as we do it is only a job to them

It is strange,, and yes its probably just a job,, or a stepping stone to a better job,,

but you would think( at least I do) that at General Manager level he has the ability to actually make a difference to how we perceive LR Oz...
A company that walks the walk HAS to be better than the alternative??

I dont particularly want a LR booth at the 70th saying "compliants here!"
But, a couple of design guys (from England) from the new Disco or Sport team would be a great way of walking that walk and at virtually no cost and no down side.

Imagine the PR if they had the OZ unveiling of the D5 at the 70th!

Sounds like AULRO is behind the eight ball....totally understand Land Rover only wanting one point of contact.

Hoping the location and dates are advertised soon.

There are discussions underway between the four clubs who put on the 60th Anniversary event in Cooma in 2008. No decisions yet on a 2018 event.

Can you nudge them to hurry up....the longer the lead time the better for us.
