    I think the story goes that Henry Ford wanted to buy Ferrari, which He couldn't do, so in terms of the very famous book "The Ford That Beat Ferrari", of which I used to have a copy, He built the GT40, to beat Ferrari,...which He did.
    I've said previously that I've never done very well, financially, with my cars, but I did VERY well with that book. I bought it in 1985 for $85, & sold it only a few years ago for $1000,....could've got more, but $1000 was OK!!...It is now very collectible & actively sought by GT40 owners!

    Well I don't think I do, I do know it's a Ford engine, but for sure I don't give it a lot of thought!

    Actually I think you'll find they are Mazda 3 and Ford Focus lookalikes. You know.... silhouette racing just like the Supercars.

    The Focus is definitely a "lookalike",..it's a specially built racecar with a 500HP Ford V8 in it,..."Marc" is the company that produces them.

    Yes Pickles, I'm aware it's a racecar.

    I think you'll find Marc produce both a Ford Focus lookalike and a Mazda 3 lookalike (and both ran in the 12 Hour and the GT Championship) and as far as I'm aware both run the same engine and drivetrain.

    Plus the Mazda3 and the Ford Focus production cars share the same floorplan as does one of the Volvos (360 I think)
