Gave the guitar a bit of a clean last night, the pickups were there but had moved, so they are back in place, they are an wound coil type, so really old, supprisingly in good shape, only need the bridge and base, tremelo spring and strings.
    Cheers Baz.

Do you play Baz? Do you know what strings you might want?

I do play(a bit, still a novice) I have a steel string Cole Clark acoustic, but have no idea what strings an electric guitar takes, I'm assuming the same as my acoustic??
    Cheers Baz.

    Guitar Bits

    Baz, Cole Clark, nice guitar.
Acoustic guitar strings are bronze or steel, electric guitar strings are nickel.
If you a lot of lead guitar then probably a set of 9 to 42 gauge strings, if you mainly strum then get a set of 10 to 44 gauge strings, the shop will know what you are talking about.
Dean Markley and D'Addario are good brands.
    Peter.

I spoke to the guy at the guitar shop after I replied to you Peter, he said it was all good and will get me a good set of strings, he also said he would set it all for me when I get all the bits for it.

Just got to get all the bits now.

    Thanks guys for your help.
    Cheers Baz.
