    Ultratune

I don't know if anyone on here uses Ultratune, but I would like to give the depot at Dural a big wrap. After the demise of my engine in July The owner's first words were that he hoped for my sake that it was caused by a problem that developed from something they had done. They had previously replaced the timing belt and tensioner plus a full service. Unfortunately for me it was a totally unrelated problem which required a motor change. They had already rung around and found a motor for me, and swapped it over during the next four weeks, working around their servicing schedule. (I had a spare vehicle so time wasn't a problem). During the process he rang me every second day to keep me up with developments) When the job was done and the time came to settle up, I sat down and asked him what the cost would be. He said he didn't keep a record of time on the job and gave me a bill with a flat fee. It was a lot less than he could have charged me. I have been back twice with a small problem with the replacement motor (oil leak) and I wasn't charged for either visit. He also did a rego check and didn't charge me. Well done and thanks to Allan and team.

Sometimes its the way a problem is resolved that makes all the difference. Even if it was the fault of the workshop ( they're only human) jumping straight in with a positive attitude to find and rectify the problem is golden. I used to work for a fellow years back whise first words to the customer when onevof these scenarios arose was " its not down to me mate". Needless to say this was also a catalyst to start my own business so i could do things my way.
Jim could you post up or pm me their contact details and address please as it is handy to have trusted help available for anyone on a trip from down here.

Thanks guys. I like to give credit where it is due. Some years ago one of my daughters bought a used car through a dealer. The young salesman crouched at the drivers door and pointed out all the controls and how to set things. Best salesman I have seen .I rang the dealership when we got home and said I was impressed with his salesmanship. I was thanked and told they don't often get calls like that. Ultratune, Dural for details. Owner's name is Allen.
ph. 0296539295. Dural is n.w.suburb of Sydney.
