    I dont have a spare protector, my spare is only a steely, but i have the plastic insert with Land Rover or Discovery on it, cant remember which, i just need 3 nuts to hold it on, as the wheel nuts go on, then the plastic disc then 3 nuts to hold it in place. Matt

    My spare runs naked.

    I figure that the other four are good enough to look at and they do all the work so why should the hanger-on get a first class ride?
