    "Bullitt" Mustang Discovered?

Just learned that the Bullitt Mustang may have turned up in Mexico, where it has been for at least 20 years.
There were of course two "Bullitt" Mustangs used in this iconic film, one for the chase/ action scenes, and this car's 390 engine was modified so it had a chance of keeping up with the "baddies" 440 Dodge Charger! And there was a second Mustang used for close-ups etc,..this car was purchased by a film studio exec, but the "action" car was thought to be scrapped.
Anyway, the Mexican car has been viewed by a couple of well known experts (Kevin Marti (Marti Report) 100% convinced!), & is apparently now on its way to the U.S. for a big dollar restoration.
At this stage, I am sceptical, but if it is true, I guess we'll hear more about it, and in which case it's value will be many many times in excess of any resto costs.
Loved the film, Love Steve McQueen, but in "Bullitt", I actually preferred the Dodge Charger! (no substitute for cubic inches, or as they say today, no replacement for displacement).

Well He could have, but I have never heard that. His son was talking about the Mustangs a few years ago, & He didn't know where this one was.
Like I said, there were two of them,..only one was the "action" one!
If this REALLY is the "action" one, I'm sure there'll be a lot more "publicity" about it, as its existence becomes known, because there'll be many testing its "Pedigree", and rightly so.

    Correct.
The car that has been "discovered" supposedly has its VIN number intact, & is being said to be the car, mentioned in your article, that was supposedly crushed.
Like I said, "We shall see what we shall see".
