Well Eliaschristeas, you could do worse than my neck of the woods. Quite a few AirB&Bs around here. Loads of bike tracks, Parks etc. Very cosmopolitan and only a half hour drive to several Beaches. No Bush though I'm afraid but then no Funnelwebs or Brown Snakes either.

Oh and it's about 470 Miles from V8 Ian.

That's about 756.392 km for the rest of the forum, except Raily.

If you are thinking of anything from Manly to Coogee, it wouldn't really matter what suburb you chose, rents are high either way, actually anywhere close to water for that matter, BUT, if you want the best public transport in any of these places, then Coogee to Watsons Bay is the area you should focus on(ie) the Eastern Suburds of Sydney, Bondi Beach, Nth Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, Clovelly, Sth Coogee, Coogee, Vaucluse, Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, Dover Heights, Double Bay

OR, any of the inner City Suburbs, Padington, Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Randwick, Moore Park, Glebe, Surry Hills, Ultimo, Millers Point, Sydney City, Pyrmont, Lillyfield, Balmain, Rozelle, Kensington, Newtown and so on.

Have fun, oh and I was a Sydney Bus Driver for 20yrs, so I know all these places very well.
    Cheers Baz.

We better close ranks Billy, or we'll be outnumbered by North Americans, collectively known as AmariCanadians.

Could save us all having to put our Two Bobs worth in a second time. ( Two Bob = AUD $0.20.)
    Failing that, happy to oblige.
I think two bob might be worth about $10 now, allowing for inflation.
Isn't that why the $2 coin is only half the size of the $1 coin, and silver coins are virtually worthless?
I remember when five pence would buy enough hot chips to feed a hungry teenager like me. Clearly, I'm ancient.

Stop it. I feel a thread highjacking coming on. It was a Zack, Mick. Sixpence, would get you a swag of hot chips cooked in fat. Enough to feed four kids, when stuffed into the bread rolls you got for nothing from the bakery around the corner.
    Cheers, Billy.
