I hope all you Holden fans noticed that only a Falcon was capable enough to perform such feats.

My dad brought home a wrecked AMC Hornet in the back of his F250 once. From memory it was held in by a single chain slung behind the car and between the bed sides. He travelled about 70kms that way.

    At your local Hardware???/

I wanted to hire some road plates, which are about 2.4x1.2x 20mm steel plate to put over holes in the road that are trafficable. The hire shop would not let me transport them inside a tipper body as they would be unsecured , no amount of rational conversation would convince the man that this was safe. They would need to be tied down.
He could however organise transport using a flat tray truck which had tie down points.
The conversation ended quite quickly after this.
Another company then got my business.

That's because they wouldn't be safe in a Tipper Body in a big impact..

Only the "Rider" of a bike is supposed to wear one - passengers don't need to.

And even then the Police don't enforce the rules..

The second one's only half loaded, by the local standards.
