That's right, ya can babble on about all sorts of stuff on our roads, but, as you say, and you are correct, and I agree 100%, "common sense & respect has been lost".

Agree to a point, remember you won't notice four out of five vehicles as they're doing the right thing. The fifth is a right plonker though.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Since I've started to travel with a GPS I've noticed that an old style speedo's error is temperature dependent. Cold they read near correct, hot they read up to 10% higher than actual speed. Put the cabin heater on and travel for a bit and your speedo shows progressively more discrepancy. By law they are not allowed to read under so what chance does a poor person have of getting it right?

The truism that once you have dual lanes everyone speeds up so you can't pass and then drop back to 90km/h or slower for single lane is driving me batty atm !

Was following one car (a near new Cruise?) on the Pacific yesterday between Ballina and Grafton and their speed varied from 80-110km/h, all in the 100km/h zone.
Guess what speed for which section of bitumen!

    Most others weren't much different.
Hasn't anyone heard of cruise control?

    I's be a little more generous and say 1/20, but I haven't driven a Truck since 1980.

I'd say less than 1 in20 tossers. We don't notice the normal courteous drivers except giving or receiving a wave for those we give room for lane changes.

Saw my ONE today. Driving in the right lane of a two lane road with my right indicator on. A car drove out of a driveway into the left lane then changed to the right lane behind me. I was stopping waiting to turn right before he move lane. When stopped the car behind stopped rather than going around via the left lane. No traffic at all in the left lane. Lots of on coming traffic had me stopped for 30-60 seconds. Got the horn from the tosser at about 20s in and every 10s or so till it was clear to turn
