Also could not call myself a collector, though a do appreciate a fine blade and given more time and Money I could easily start collecting.

My hunting/ camping knives are these two:

A Bob Dozier drop point skinner and a Wenger ' Mike Horn' Swiss Army Knife.

The Dozier is by far my favourite knife, though it is strictly only for skinning and butchering, which means its almost never used these days. Perhaps when the boys grow up and hunting gets back onto the agenda.

Tucked away in a cupboard I also have a very collectable hitler youth knife from the 1930's that I inherited.

I was an avid knife collector when I was about 8 years old. Dad spat the dummy and threw out all my knives when he discovered I had slashed my bedspread! The irony of it was that I cut the bedspread playing with a razor blade and wasn't game to own up to that.
I did try my hand at making a few knives when I was recovering from surgery a few years ago and had some time on my hands. The first was the hidden-tang skinner on the right which I gave to a mate for his 40th birthday. The full-tang skinner with mosaic pins is mine. I'd love to make a few more but there are so many projects already.

A few of my Cold Steels, and a few Sog Seal 2000's and Seal pups. Bottom Sog is a Tech 2, all are Seki models.

There's a SOG flash 2 on ABF at the moment. It's been sitting there for a while now, and needs a new home. Might be a good transition into folders- Come to the dark side

    More knives

My collection of Sog Scuba Demos with damascus blades, plus a 20th anniversary and standard model. Bloody expensive things.

I'm not a collector ... No fixed blades ... As to be of any use (just like a torch) ........... It needs to actually be with me when I need it. I carry a SOG power assist on my belt. I've broken it a couple of times, they just send me a new replacement when it breaks. The SOG waranty seems to be absolutely brilliant.

One of the guys on the classic 'van forum makes his own knives.

I recon there's a few current and ex PMs in Canberra that would be collecting knives (in the back)!
