    Thylacine??

I've never been convinced they're extinct, but I'm not convinced this bloke has found one either..

I reckon they should try where this vid was shot then.

I'd love to see one, but then I believe in the 'big cat' thing, as I'm sure I saw one 35 years ago. I was into self medication in those days though. Still, it was a powerful sight and memory.

Hard to tell from that vid, the outline around the rear of the animal certainly looks like it fits the description of a Thylacine but who knows, its probably a dog.

They run differently to a dog because of the way the leg and foot are arranged by all accounts..

It would be pretty cool if it was a Thylacine...even if it is pretty unlikely.

Like you John, 30+ years ago I saw a big cat near mt Bogong that makes me think that rumour had at least some basis in fact.... so why not this one too....

I am not convinced either way with all the Tassie tiger, big cats, ghosts, UFOs, blah blah blah things. I do however find it amusing that in this day and age where we can take a picture of a gnats bum on the moon, all the photos of that could prove existence are blurry/out of focus. At least this piece of footage is clear even though the subject is a little distant.

Yep. Think of what a roo would run like if it's legs were nearly the same length.
