Thread: My new Disco 2

Well as if I dont have enough LR's at home. I took delivery of the latest addition, 2003 TD5 Disco series 2 (or is it a series 3 ?) the version with the good looking headlights. Well we droped the previous owner off at the airport & drove home via a car wash (things you do with a new secondhand car). All's well and clean untill we got home, her indoor's wen to the tailgate & had a heart attack (not quite) the rear end was covered in diesel, fuel running out from underneath....BUGGER. Diagnosis revealed that the fuel line had worn through. Turns out to be on the pressure side so no chance of a simple repair. Luckily she is still just under warranty (99053k's). A call to Land Rover assist & arrangements were made to have her picked up & taken to MLR. Hope they fix her today...............
So **** happens but all credit to LR (so far) to helping out. I may ask if they can do extended warranty.
