    I'm extraordinary - and I don't need a survey to prove it.

I know a couple of very ordinary Australians, who think they are are mainstream.

They were watching that apartment building in London burning and expressing hope that all occupants.. 'those *****'... all died.

    Yeah right, not.

    Very, very ordinary.

    And still the bull**** flows.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Definitely not.

Must have a sense of adventure, including mechanical stuff.

Must be handy with tools, or in the process of learning.

Must be sufficiently intelligent to realise that they'll become a better person from owning one, one way or another.

They took 10 factors, determined the most common result for each, and then tried to find people who matched all 10.
For example, if you or a parent were born overseas, which totals 46 percent of the population, then you're not ordinary.
I got 9, only because the kids have left home.
So, next time someone accuses me of being an extremist, I can say I can prove I'm ordinary.
    Cool!

Too true John. Had they said "British Isles" instead of English the number of ordinaries would have doubled yet the palpable demographic is identical. Pretty much the same had they said "between 1&3 children".

If you broaden the parameters the number of ordinarys increases.

By the stats I'm not ordinary at all, but I'm pretty bloody typical.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.

What a joke from the ABC...

Ordinary around here is some opinionated p*&^% with nothing better to do than whinge...

I am not ordinary, normal, mainstream or any other &^$^%#%$#* idea that people wish to label me with...

And one thing that really puts me in that catergory is the Disco... very few of them around here, its pretty much Cruiser/Patrol country and of course it annoys the f&^% out of them when I travell to places on my little road tyres and dont have problems...

As for the religous tones in that article, that is one thing that only a small percentage around here follow and I for one dont...

Box's Box's Box's, they love to put us in box's...
