I guess I don't feel so bad about our forecast here in Warwick in sunny Qld. They reckon -3 overnight!
 AT REST

AT RESTNot looking good for tonight and throughout the night. Vic's going to have severe winds , snow , hail and damn freezing. I was just thinking of our members camping at the annual Winter wombat camp, it's not going to be very comfortable sleeping out in the elements. The camp fire if it stays lit will be fanned by strong winds. Hope it proves uneventful for our warriors there.
Cheers, Mario

SupporterWished I was more attentive last week(Sat).
The hurricane we got in Melb, almost busted my side gate(which I recently rewelded the hinges), but did end up busting up the parts D2 in line with it.
The car is facing north, and the 100+km/h northerly wind caught the bonnet, flipped it backwards, bent the hinges and bonnet, and smashed the front screen!
Worked 12 hrs each day Sat and Sun last weekend, and so didn't notice the damage till Monday morning, when I had a later start.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

Wind is getting up here! At the moment 33kph, gusting 39. Forty minutes ago it got up to 45 - forecast is 26, which suggests weather is a little worse than forecast!

Keep your heads down.
I bet the wombats are shivering in their burrows.
Lovely day up here in Godzown BTW.
Us Wombats survived, although you needed to be early to get the good side of the fire. I got the DSE side, so I couldn't see and was alternately freezing and roasting. Brought back memories of the blast furnaces at AIS. The wind was a little feisty.

Meanwhile here in Sydney, Lucy and Lachy each had wins in their respective games. The sun was shining, the barbecues sizzling and the beer cold. BLISS>
