    What a great band with such an original sound. One of my all time favorites.

    I always thought Steely Dan was Becker, Fagen and session musicians hired at the time for whatever talent was needed. This gave Becker and Fagen tight control of what they produced. And it worked very well. All those great songs.

    Walter Becker will be missed. RIP Walter.

    I think I'll be streaming Steely Dan hits on youtube tonight.

    As a kid, any band named after a Vibrator was alright by me + I always thought Walter Becker was a killer name for a Rock Star.Got a fair old amount on Vinyl.
