The school I work at has heaps of them walking around on a daily basis. We have had them in the hall, classrooms and even the staff room...very messy birds

They learnt off our domestic turkey...

More tasty than the foreign ones too...

Now can you catch one and accidently let it fall into the oven?

    Maggie first.

If I woke to that serene song every dawn and had a good chuckle with the kookaburras each dusk.... I’d be a mug if ever I was miserable.

I voted Lyrebird, because of the mimicry they achieve. Other favourites include Pied Butcherbird and Magpie for their singing

A sample: Chook from Adelaide zoo

Lyrebird for mine. Has an amazing repertoire and beautiful plumage.
    Cheers, Billy.

Was tough, so many to choose from.
I ended up going the Willie Wagtail. We have so many of these around at home.
I have always been fascinated by them, ever since I was little.

Easy Peasy. Once you have seen a mob of Galahs, on a really hot day, when it is just about to rain, turn upside down on the branch or wire they are on, and hang their wings to take in the cooling of the rain, you'll be hooked. I've never fogfotten it, so it's the Galah for me..

    However, I do like parrots...
