I am interested in finding out the NVH of the new LR alloy monocoques. There has been mention of NVH issues with monocoques, the Pajero, L322, and i just drove a Merc GL320. I drove down some suburban tarmac roads and even small bumps created a boom in the cabin, i wonder if it would be horrid on corrugations. Going diagonally across a spoon drain made the rear hatch creak, and at idle the steering wheel vibrated. These issues are why the D3/4 has a separate chassis, but now they are swapping to alloy monocoques.
