    Strange Series Land Rover

    Interesting documentary, but what I find interesting is the Land Rover. It appears to be a Series 3, but what gives with the 4 doors? To me it looks like it started life as a Safari Station Wagon, and the hard top has been removed?

    Yes. A not particularly uncommon modification in some parts of the world. Probably difficult to pass engineering here, and four door wagons have always been at a premium in Australia, so few would do this to them.
