    Ah yes my oversight.

Forget this question, just looking to go bigger than 245/75/16.

If Cooper replace my tyres that is

    Hi Mark

I have 31/10.5/15 Sumitomo muddies on my 95 Disco

I have a 2" lift, trimmed rear guards & no rear sway bar

The tyres barely touch the rear guards at full travel, nothing a bit of hammer work wont fix

    Cheers

A 31x10.5 is round about the same height as a 245/75, just wider. The 31x10.5 is qbout 30.5 inches in diamiter whereas the 245/75 is a sidgen bigger at 30.6 (quoted on BFG mud terrain specs, brands vary).

I prefer the 245/75 myself, not as wide and they fit inside the guard better. The 31x10.5's big advantage is that thy're cheap and plenty of brands to choose from.

Good luck with it. I know a bloke who has some 15x7 rims if you are intersted (white sunrayias). PM me if you are interested.

I've got 265 75 16 BFG A/Ts on 8" rims on my RR with standard ride hgt I just barely get away with it on road occasionally touch over speed bumps.
Big problem is the reduction in turning circle. The Highlander 2 16x8 I have on sit too far in on the RR really need 30mm spacers (big money)
Temp arrangement car will be getting lift and guard treatment befor any off road ventures.

I imagine it would be same on the Disco...depends on the offset of the wheels.
