    World Land Rover Day announcement from Land-Rover

    Have come across this note about some kind of announcement by Land-Rover to be made via utube

    World Land Rover Day, on 30 April. Land Rover will be airing an announcement live on its YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/landrover    ) at 20.00, UK time. You can join in the celebrations by using the hashtag #LandRover70Years.

    Have no idea what this will be and it may just be that they are going to make some new heritage colours available

    World Land Rover day. .... I like it, just like a valentines and mother's day . I could set up a road side stand and pedal land rover parts like the flower sellers do.

    Who's setting an alarm for 20:00hrs BST - 05:00hrs AEST to catch the announcement?

    If the announcement is (much much) better than the disappointment of the DC100 release, there might be a que at the dealership for advance orders tomorrow morning.

    I was only hinting some more to my wife earlier today about how we need a dual cab defender to join the mix. Fingers crossed this really is a proper unveiling of a new model.

    Well, the infomercial by Land Rover was over an hour late, and when it was finally broadcast, there was no mention of the new Defender. Just some back patting.
