    The new Defender will also be built in Slovakia, so our Land Rover experience guide told us today.

    I can see logic in this move.
    Makes sense to lower production costs on a volume selling vehicle and keep it within the EU for trade reasons related to Brexit.
    Frees up factory space in the UK for a big expansion into electric vehicles, as LR has promised there will be electric versions of all its vehicles.
    The electric platform can then be refined close to the engineering centre.
