    It's a flux capacitor for a Delorean navigational triangulator. If you find 3 of them, don't stand on the exact mid-point.

    Take it home and pull it to bits. Let us know what you find. With that many Land Rovers, you must have the skills. You can always put it back in a plain brown wrapper afterwards.
