I personally have been on the bones of my arse many times over the last 60 odd years and i most certainly didnt come from an affluent family and i Never turned to crime out of need or anger I simply made do and worked hard to make my life better.
If i can do this i can't see a problem with anyone else doing the same, It is simply BS to blame ones own poverty on everyone else and crimnal behaviour and vandalism is certainly Not the answer.
For a lot of people the concept of working for a living is something that they find abhorrent and they much prefer to survive on government handouts and blame the World for their problems.
These people need to get off their fat arses and do something themselves about improving their lot instead of expecting everyone else to do it for them.
We DID have a comfortable upbringing, went to a good school and never went without. However, our parents instilled in us the importance of caring for others, whatever their situation or background or ethnicity. My father in his capacity as an eye surgeon and specialist was very passionate about indigenous health and was involved in the series of Trachoma and eye health programs in WA during the late 70s and early 80s. As a 13yo i accompanied him on 1 of these trips with Fred and Gabi Hollows and was my introduction to the stark realities of a 'lucky' country. I find it hard to fathom how much of an impact this had on me but it certainly helped forge the adult i became, i hope. Everywhere around us there are those doing it tough, who DON'T resort to crime, and others doing it easy up to their necks in stolen goods... we really need to start out treating ALL fellow humankind on an equal footing, even those who treat us in an abhorrent manner. Easier said than done, yes. I really have no other idea other than not to become a part of the problem.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊

Thank you Justinc. It's a pleasure to listen to some one with their feet on the ground, as opposed to their head in the air.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
