I think that was pretty irresponsible. Damaging the environment for no reason and giving the impression you can come over to Australia, rip up our environment for your own fun and **** off back home without a care.

I just think wherever you travel you should remember you are a visitor and show a bit respect, to both the environment and local population.

To see that tosser crapping on in the first video about how there’s nothing out there and then see that just gives me the irrits.

Never heard of this Mike Horn w4nker before, and I'm kicking myself for having watched it now!

Oh well .. I reckon his make up artist good at the job tho ...

He probably believes the drivel he espouses too.

What gets me .. is(at about the 5 - 5:10 min mark) he's 'instructing' the driver to switch the centre diff lock off(and go go go) in what seems to be in the middle of crossing the dune, and then back on again for no apparent reason.
I'd love to know why unlock it and then lock it again in what is seemingly arduous deep sand driving?
I get that the video editing helps to make for drama and excitement, but as a driving instructor at least keep it real(and by that I mean actually real .. realistic).

What really got me tho was that at about the 7min mark, the American sounding guy talking into the camera is explaining how he's thrilled to have Mike Horn instructing him through off-roading in Australia, and he's delighted that Mike Horn is saying "Good Job".
Damn spat out a mouth full of tea at my monitor, and up my nose too, with laughter. As if this Mike knows anything about driving and how to use centre diff locks!

Good job that he was instructed to unlock the 4WD system coming up a deep sandy dune!

(said in that delightful SA accent)...
