Spend a bit of time around Bellevue Hill & Vaucluse & you will discover the Real Market that Range Rovers & LandRovers are aimed at . Spend some time in the cafes & carparks around Rose Bay , you will soon distance yourself from any desire to own the latest & greatest RR. No respect for money or the marque , just a shopping trolley .

Previously, Land Rover were building off-road vehicles that even could be used as everyday-vehicle. Today, they are producing everyday vehicles with some off-road ability. No to my liking...

I might be the odd one out, but I love the Velar and the D5.

If Land Rover gave me one I wouldn't say no

The D5 is a bit of a disappointment in that it's too rounded, squarer is better for usable cargo capacity, also the rear seats don't fold totally flat, and the I believe the turning circle is larger.

Not many LR vehicles i don't like but that depends on its use, Evoque/DS are too small but for urban driving would be fine. Velar looks sexy to me, coming around to the D5 shape especially after seeing Lee's with some accessories added.
Wasn't that keen on the D3 shape at first but here i am owning one and love it, TDV8 L322/FFRR would be the ducks guts.

Can't argue with that, use to own one myself but I but traded it for RR classic - the start of all my problems.

.........and also the start of that ear to ear grin every time you turn the key and hear that Rangie V8 rumble.

Ahhh, yes - the buuuurble on turning the key and starting the mighty 3.5l V8. Sometimes that happened. Sometimes nothing happened.

But who really needs a family friendly car like a Camry anyway. Life on the edge and with stupidly high fuel consumption I say.

I judge on BOTH. If I were going to shell out the ridiculously large pile of money sought for one of these vehicles it would damn well want to be capable off-road.

And if you don't look back at your car and admire it as you walk away - then you have the wrong car.

An Aston Martin DB11 is slower than an equivalently priced Porsche, but to me the Aston Martin looks absolutely beautiful but the Porsche... no. I'd get the AM every time.

Yep. That's why I replaced the Camry with a Territory.
