Congrats to the 3 of you![]()
Heather and myself were off the radar today, we attended our youngest sons uni graduation at the Melbourne Convention Center. What a long day, just got back home pretty exhausted.
He received his diploma in International studies - Japanese language.
Pretty handsome lad he was dressed in robes and the cap with the board on top and tassel.
Heather & myself are pretty stoked
Congrats to the 3 of you![]()
Graduating is an expensive day. Cost us $280 gown hire and for the tickets for 2 of us to see him grad. You get 2 free tickets for family. They had a package in the $280 that 3 photos would be taken. We thought that's a good deal (Wrong).
To get one quick snap of him receiving his diploma from the Chancellor was an extra $50! ,
Afterwards the family shoot photos , you can pick the ones you wanted, but that original $30 special deal we now find out was only to have a photographer take the photos, it was not for a photo, they were around starting at $160 extra if I recall. The photographer rushed was click happy and took photos before you even were in a pose, so there's pics of eyes closed, head movement, etc etc. Not what i would call professional quality. Then too finish the day the $58 parking fee and the $20 in tolls.
Those photographers must have made a packet over the past couple of days with gradations.
Now i know why I don't go out much, its expensive out there in the world.
Damn! Time to dust off the Nikon and the flashes!
