If it's the same crowd that have the Youtube page of the same name, then IMHO they are a bunch of morons with their Land Cruisers and Patrols.
It doesn't take much brain cells to drive a area on a regular basis and get to know all the tricky spots then put down anyone that doesnt know the area and gets stuck.
They also like to have a go at Land Rovers "here comes beckham" (so funny after the 50 million time).
    Regards

I can understand a few of these sorts of videos getting posted up, especially if you've been stuck waiting for some of these people who are bogged to clear out of the way from the track. But these guys have made a 40 odd minute video, so they would have been sitting around there much longer if you factor in all the cut time. Is this really what some people find as an entertaining way to spend their holidays - watching other people get stuck? I cant figure that out.

I agree Daz. Inskip and Ngarla. When I went on a month ago I just walked it through Inskip while some bloke filmed it. No doubt he was disappointed and that footage was deleted.

What makes me cringe however is that they jump into their V8 powered 35" tyred trucks and they can barely move themselves without digging down. In reality anybody with the tyres they use should be able to idle in and idle out..... Even with 285/75-16 you can easily pull a loaded 4WD with boat out of a bog and through there without trying to tear the vehicles in half.

Most recoveries on there are just as stupid as the bogging in the first place.
    Cheers

I spent a bit of time today watching a few and what got me was the amount of people letting their tyres down after becoming bogged. We always aired down low to start with, slow down on the hard sand and nice easy driving on soft
    cheers

The end of the vid suggests something changed with the L494. I suspect someone told the driver about TR and sand mode, or to turn off the DSC.

As expected it drove out much easier than the 80 series (also a very capable vehicle).

    Hi,
I try and learn what can go wrong from such vids. The potential for carnage is high and that it is not more common seems due to good luck than management.
    Cheers
