Drain the pools Rivers and sea as well. About 300 people drown every year! Nasty water should be shot

Great whites eat people yet they are protected, each animal has a small part in the ecosystem, remove one element and it effects others.

Tiger sharks are on the threatened species list - mostly due to finning operations.

If we kill all the tiger sharks, there'll be nothing to keep the turtle population in check. Then everyone will complain about their fibreglass boats getting holed by "rogue" turtles! The law of unintended consequences lies in wait for people who think they can solve what they see as "problems" in the natural world, by eliminating a species.

Unless you are drunk, drugged or plain stupid, you don't play on a road where there is a lot of traffic - applying the same logic to swimming seems like a no-brainer! Why blame the sharks or crocs for doing what they're designed to do?

Yes you can assume sharks are everywhere.....just thinking how many people have swam in the oven today, no shark attacks, yesterday no shark attacks.

The chance of it happening is low.....

When I was last in the Whitsundays I swam in the ocean, when I go up next I’ll swim as well.

I used to scuba dive around Wardang Island, noah territory, great white alley, call it what you will. I knew the risk. If I had ever been taken by a shark, I would have found it abhorrent for anyone to go hunting and killing them in my name.

To be honest though I would not expect to be attacked by a shark in my oven.

    Cheers
