    The Bathurst 1000 2018.

Yes, i know very well that I have many detractors on this forum with respect to V8 Supercars.
Nevertheless, for me, and for many others, the ultimate event is about to happen.
Massive tv coverage (yes, I know, much only on Foxtel), but for us devoted "devotees", this is "it", it's like the AFL grand final.
So, for me, this all starts on Wednesday. Who will win?....who knows,....but all things being equal Whincup & Dumbrell look pretty good, but who would not wnat Lowndes & Richhards to get it?

When is the race and what channel is it going to be broadcast on? I don't see anything advertised any more regarding the supercars - it's like they don't exist outside of pay tv now...
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

What the hell is a TV guide? I remember my old man using those, but haven't seen one in years - don't watch bugger all free to air either now so haven't see any ads for it...

Will tune in though, I'm glad you reminded me it was on.

Gav, it's usually the button marked "GUIDE" or "EPG" on the telly remote.

Gav,log onto the site and TV coverage guide is all there.

Try this TV Schedule | Supercars

It would be great for Loundes and Richards to clean up,particularly as he has lost a couple due to double stacking in his Red Bull days.

Red Bull cars will be favourites, but as we all know, its the easiest race to lose, and anything can and does happen....

    Cant wait

Lol. Hey Gav, sorry my friend, I was just taking it for granted that everyone bought The Age on Thursday for "The Green Guide" (that's what I meant by TV Guide!),...which has all the TV & Radio info for the next week!
Anyway, Ch 10 will have good coverage on Saturday & Sunday.
    Regards, Martin.

There may be a few surprises come out of this one.

Its looking to be the best Bathurst race for about ten years.

I'm pretty well couch ridden at the moment so will see more of it than I have for years.
