I doubt if I have been to Bulimba more than 5-6 times since the pub (remember the old Bal bloodhouse? Wharfies, meatworkers, painters and dockers.) got renovated and turned into a trendy yuppy overpriced restaurant with "no industrial clothing, no work boots" dress code. Our junior rugby league club was no longer welcome to raffle meat trays there. The locals voted with their feet and wallets and moved to the Colmslie and the bowls club.

Well Pedro, nobody's come up with a better suggestion than Alex Surf Club. Can you tee it up?

    What's your team, Storm?

I could set you up with the Brighton bowls club. They have a room out the back, which can be closed off, and have a kitchen and very good chef.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

We don't need a private or secluded area, Bob, we don't take it too seriously.

Then try the Brighton Roosters. It's that Saturday at the bowls club involves live entertainment, could be distracting .
