Hi, did that in NSW without trouble for a month or so a few years ago.
Cheers
Went camping in the Grampians national park years ago the group near use just craped on the ground through toilet paper on the ground just pigs so when they went for a drive my dad got a shovel and packed their mess in their sleeping bags.
Some years ago when I was in the LROC, we had a trip down through the High Country.
One night, I heard some noise at the back of my tent and went to check. It was a couple of kids from another LROC owner's family having a crap behind my tent. I was not amused!

RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
On a recent trip out through Birdsville and the desert to Alice I stayed a few days in the Birdsville Caravan park. I selected a spot well away from any other campers as I sleep in the back of the 6x6 and like being away from others as I am a light sleeper. There were heaps of spare sites everywhere and bugger me dead on the 2nd day 2 vehicles and camper trailers move in right beside me and set up. I did the right thing and went and said hello and had a bit of a chat with them and found out they were staying several days as well (disappointed) I might add and wondered why they would want to set up right beside me when there were so many spare sites closer to the amenities. Anyhow their antics up till about 1130hrs was enough for me and I moved out next morning. Could not believe the noise they made without any consideration for their neighbour. They were from Vic and poms as well - need I say more!!

The same neighbourly actions happen when you go into a near empty cafe and you want to have a private conversation with someone - you can guarantee that the next person/group that comes in will sit at the table right next to you even though the place is just about empty.
The same happens in the toilets these days - I was brought up that you gave the bloke next to you at the urinals the max possible room - him down one end and you down the other eyes in front.
Not these days - mateship and getting as close as possible seems to be the name of the game these days - hmm nothing to see here - move right along![]()
