Lucky we were not camping at Goomeri today

That was one wild storm! I rang my mate who lives between Yarraman and Nanango but he only got the edge of it with a few trees being blown over.

Anyone on here that lives around the area?

Watched the cells on BOM. We are at Kilkivan only 20 k away and just got rain not much wind. Needed the rain.
We were in Gympie for the day and saw it coming so left for home. Just as well. Gympie got hammered with hail. Open car yards got heaps of damage.
We were in the centre as two cell went to either side.

Harry's sister lives in Goomeri. He rang to she how she fared, 20 mils of rain and not much wind. The storm just went north of them.
