Thread: Aldi batteries, Was some-one wanting one/some?

    I drove a beige 244 once with a warm Holden 308 in it. That wasn't half bad either.... But the Rover V8, worked appropriately, would be better. Nowadays you'd just drop a Gen 3 or 4 into it. That's the default now. CRS do kits to fit that engine into just about anything, including Fords.... My Indy has a D1a with 6.0ltr Gen4 and 6-speed auto. His is quicker, but mine is cooler (so he reckons). Anyway, i feel that we've strayed somewhat from the thread topic....

    Have a look here if you like Gen IV's and 6 speeds and LR's. You'll need a rainy day.

    Wow I just came to this thread expecting to see discussion on Aldi batteries but here we are on Volvos, Gen IVs, 6 speeds and Laycock overdrives.
