By rights fork should also be certified for the cage, tilt lockout and mast drop speed tested. Done a few in previous job, most don’t seem to bother tho..

In all seriousness if these guys actually work for Toll, their arses would be fired instantly if they are identified. Knowing their current CEO’s MO (personal opinion withheld) a safety breach of this magnitude would bring about instant dismissal.
Hope the pic doesn’t make it to his desk to be honest. ☹️
Better be careful, you never know when a meteor may hit the forklift
It is safer than just standing on the forks I suppose.
Those Meteors are pretty hazardous, Lasers aren't much safer, either.

Ian, a place I worked for in the '80's caught "four cylinder fever" and put the sales reps in "four cylinder economy cars". What a joke. Sigmas were stuffed oil burners in 80,000 k's and used more fuel without a/c than Commodores (6 cyl) with. The reps from the crane company got Meteors. Totally unsuitable for rural use in Qld. After several dirt road rollovers the reps jacked up, went on strike, and refused to drive them.
