I'd say the forkies scarpered when they saw the camera.
Couple of old ladders would do us,having a forklift would be luxury![]()
We used a purpose build cage with safety rails and a body harness when using a fork as a people lift. Also the forklift operator was always there not his lunch brake leaving the others in the cage unattended
No boots is an OH&S issue. Might get a splinter from the pallet.
On a serious note. About ten years ago I had a part time truck driving job which at the end of the run I had to wash the truck.
Where this took place was an unmanned yard so I had no help.
To get to the roof of the truck I would park the forklift with a pallet and then put a ladder to the pallet.
This was an OH&S issue at the time as I did not have a forklift licence.
