Just walk out of work and notice this is on at the convention Centre tomorrow. I’m damn busy tomorrow and cannot see myself getting there.

One would have thought that the pro electric vehicle brigade might have advertised it a bit more....but I dont listen to commercial radio nor much commercial tv.
I don't think the AEVA is a terribly big organisation. One of their main perks offered on their event page is secure parking. AULRO is bigger... currently...

There are also more Land Rovers running around in Australia than electric road vehicles in total.

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
Are there stats on that?? How many LandRovers would there be on the road ? Theres at least one Electric LandRover that I know of.
USA September new car sales, Tesla is trouncing everything Else (Luxury cars), note LandRover right as the bottom.
Also not Tesla is not really a Luxury car as far as creature comforts go, its just in that price bracket.
Yes, Australia will play catchup soon enough.

Heard somewhere today or yesterday, that current EV registrations in Aus are around 0.05% of total vehicle registration numbers. Not really at critical mass yet.

Goingbush - Landrover started putting cars on Australian roads seventy years ago - and there are still a lot of them around. I would be surprised if there are any electric cars on Australian roads more than ten years old, and I would also be surprised if Australian Landrover sales today did not exceed all EVs (not including hybrids).
