    Surprise for kids.

Just surprised the kids with a 10 wk old G/Retriever pup. They were stoked. They've always wanted another dog since we lost our others a few years back. Merry Christmas all, just thought I'd share. PS also youngest daughters birthday today so it was even more special.

Wonderful dog for family , just keep anything moveable or breakable above tail height.

Someone here is lab puppy specialist, I can't remember who , but fosters guide dog pups until theyre ready for training. He could give you a lot of pointers.

Couldn't ask for nicer family gift.

Now where the photos? Got a name yet?

Puppy pics are always good. Ron (p38arover) does the guide dog puppy thing. A very noble cause I might add.

Gorgeous lab. My last dog was a Staffy. Would have got one again but had MAJOR separation anxiety problems. They just love people TOO much . Girls are out at X-Mas ATM & I am puppy-sitting (with a nice whisky ). Amazing how much they sleep. Just like babies.

    Golden Retrievers

Must point out that Golden Retrievers are not the same as Labradors.

Golden Retrievers can be white through to a dark golden colour.

Labradors can be Golden, Black or Chocolate.

Their coats are different, their temprements are different, their bark is different.

Even their body action while walking is different, especially the tail.
