Mate reckons the Lazeboy an improvement![]()
Moran and Kings are the pick of the Australian made. My mate bought some Plush stuff and I wasn't impressed by the quality. My Kings Sofas are over 20 years old now, still very comfortable but I don't recommend nubuck leather, even though it has a really nice feel it needs specialised care to keep it looking good.

Santa bought me a lazyboy for Christmas. I think he chose this one because the electric recliner has independent leg and back controls so you dont need to have your legs straight out before your back can recline. And you can stop anywhere in between . (Floor stock from Rothmans)

Thanks all for your input.
I have added 4 more places to look at thanks to you all for the info.
*Even "Australian" .... seems to translate to the fine print of "made exclusively for our Australian design team" etc etc bluh bluh.
*While in the east it looks like their are a few actual Australian made available, W.A not so much, although I am keeping fingers crossed at one or two new places on my list.
*So if I'm forced to buy imported I will still avoid made in China (for no other reason than I chose to support other countries economy).
*From my perspective, the furniture industry seem to make it almost difficult to buy products. Most have some really poor delivery wait times.
*There also seems to be a lot of misleading info supplied to customers with regards to material, where its made, supply times, warranty and after sales service.
Once again, cheers to all

Mostly sci-fi series that I have been watching since they were first released, some of which include:
*Stargate - SG1, SGA, SGU.
*BSG (Battlestar Galactica) (both orig and "new").
*Startrek - Enterprise, Voyager, Next Gen, DS9.
*Firefly and a whole list of others most havent even heard of.
*Exhausted just about all of them many years ago that I had to start reading sci-fi books! and again the list is endless!
*Movies though, its the classics such as:
2001, Dune, Tron, Blade Runner, The Matrix.
I rarely meet people that are into sci-fi, hence why I talk a lot of Land Rover!

I love my Stressless, from tea and toast in the morning when I get up, to my afternoon nap. Comfortable as!
Admittedly not quite my size, I bought it for the ex over ten years ago, so slightly short in te back for me but super comfortable anyway and still going strong. Glad she left it behind.
It cost more than my entire lounge suite did but you really do get what you pay for. If the house burnt down it’d be the first thing on the insurance shopping list.
