I always check my baggage - everything, so only ever me, my phone and headphones to get on board. I always board almost last - which always causes issues because I book a window seat so always 2 people sitting in their seats that have to get up to let the fat man in.... 😁
I always try and book and aisle seat so that I can empty by bladder without disturbing the people next to me...
DiscoMick - I tend to sit up the back of the room so that I don’t get asked questions in front of a room full of people. I can (but hate) public speaking...
One of the International Airlines (?????) we flew on, called the Row numbers starting from the rear so they were settled first before the next lot came on board. Made for an easier Boarding.
Seemed a civilised method to me.[bighmmm]
4bee - I have flown many a time and this is a common theme, which makes perfect sense. Yet I have seen people turned back “it’s not your time to board yet.”... Some people are just impatient and arrogant.... Ah well - that’s why I don’t love flying....
That is great to know GG, although I haven't been OS for a few years now (did all that when I was younger ) so I'm glad it made sense & was implemented by others.
I do the opposite and try to squeeze everything into a carry-on bag, so once we land I'm gone without having to wait.Quote:

As for sitting in the aisle, I remember a China Air flight Bangkok-Beijing when the seats were so close together it was impossible for me to get my legs in, even if I sat on my feet. I just wriggled until the aisle passenger, a nice Chinese woman, offered to swap seats with me.
An hour off the ground the centre toilet overflowed and started running down the aisle towards me. That certainly got a reaction from the flighties.
