    Minto Auction help

Just wondering if there are any members here that can help me. I want to bid on a gearbox at the current auction but have no idea how to get it back to Adelaide. Im not to good at this sort of thing. If there is someone who can pick it up and organise courier etc i dont mind paying a reasonable amount for the efforts. Im not rich. Im trying to get a gearbox to fit to my perentie and re-commision the winch on my ffr, bushpig. Also to get the handbrake working instead of the poor rangerover one that is fitted that wont even hold on level ground. So small. If someone can help me pls let me know asap as i havent started to bid yet. Can call me if u want 0419847861.

    Cheers Rod

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

If only this had been the previous Minto auction. I came across from Canberra to pick up an axle, and would have been happy to help you out.

You could try YUNEEC Drones for Beginners and Professionals - Yuneec. I've used them a few times, including transporting a gearbox from Bundaberg to Bright. Not sure how you arrange authorising a pickup from Frontline on your behalf but there were couriers collecting items last time I was there, so it's definitely possible.

Link should be e-go.com. Not drones! (I know they're working on Amazon / pizza delivery via drones, but I think a gearbox may be a little much)

E-go won’t pick up from Graysonline. You need to get a local Sydney courier to pick up from Minto and deliver it to the E-go depot. It’s a bit tricky to organise as you need to book both. Also, Grays don’t do labeling so you have to talk to the E-go depot and request they print and label your goods. If the goods are over 35kg they have to be on a pallet, if not E-go will charge you $30 to palletise it.
It’s not difficult to do, just a bit of a pain.

E-go did a pickup for me from Minto last March. It wasn't a large item though, perhaps that makes a difference.

Ok got a proper reply from E-Go this evening. They pickup from grays at minto. Problem. They want a from post code and to post code. Address of course. Method of transport, express etc. Exact weight. Exact cubic size. Type of packaging, crate, pallet, tube etc. How the hell am i going to get those measurements weight etc? What if they dont like the open crate that gearboxes come in? Its just too bloody hard. Surely there's someone on here that goes there and gets stuff that can offer some assistance??
