Not likely, it is only light beer.
Light beer is like having sex at the beach.

I finally got around to fitting the new "U" bolts for the springs as the ones that came with the springs were too short and I had to get replacements.
While I was doing the job I gently knocked the brake cable and the bloody thing just fell off, It was corroded to hell and I have No idea how it still managed to work so I replaced that with a nice shiny new stainless cable and clamps.
I also replaced the wheel bearings even though they have only done about 12,000k and they looked to be in good condition But I don't want any more "Surprises" on my next trip.
Regardless of how well you prepare for a trip sometimes **** happens regardless But prempting what you can has to help[biggrin]
BTW the trailer now sits about 50mm higher than it did when I bought the boat so the old springs must have been on their last legs anyway, Now to replace the lh mudguard that got chewed out when the spring broke and get a new tyre for the wheel that also got chewed out.
Bloody Boats[bigwhistle]
The number one son just mucked up. O-Bugger crossed my mind when I drove to this yesterday. Followed a police car at a little over 120kph. He missed the dirt road and took the next road- Whoops. Helicopter trip to my favorite hospital for him and Ballarat Base for the passenger with both very very lucky two airbags worked perfectly. Both are after massive medical and paramedic help looking good for a 100% recovery.
Honestly driving up to the front of this car and seeing two people I love laying in the dirt (with a lot of attention, blankets and love) was the most frightening thing I have ever seen. KIDS! them but at time OH Bugger is almost not enough.
Have to share my 'Very Very Very Lucky Tag with two more people very happily [thumbsupbig]

Why advances in auto technology shouldn't be criticised too much!
Regarding Trout's tribulations, another thing to check, if the vehicle is used in a marine environment, is the towbar. Several years ago, I had cause to be under the tray of the 'tilly and accidentally hit the bar with a spanner. After cleaning all the crap that fell off it, out of my eyes, this is what I found on further prodding. This was when I had a plate c/console weighing in around 2 tonne!
