Get an EV, no oil to leak! Or don’t derive on your driveway LOL.
Might be time to pull the motor and reseal it.
I know a bloke who might be able to assist.
Not really Mick. Obviously it depends on the vehicle, but most full EV vehicles only require very small quantities of lubricant, mostly grease. ...Driveways will be a lot safer from staining :)
"electric vehicles (EV’s) need very, very little “oil” to operate. Oil is needed to lubricate some of the same things as on an ICE vehicle: wheel bearings, drive shafts, door hinges and so on. But an electric motor does not require an “oil bath” anywhere near what a regular car requires, nor does it require “oil changes” like a traditional car, and most EVs do not have gearboxes: The wheels are driven right off the center shaft of the motor or through a simple reduction gear. They use nothing like the enormously complex drive train/transmission of a traditional ICE car or truck. It’s just completely different. They also uses a different kind of oil; it’s thick, more like axle grease (because it is used on axles and such)."
