Is that 5kw inverter or panels?

I've noted with mine (13kw panels, 10kw inverter) that it has come extremely close to 10kw/h production but has never actually maxed out. I'm generally between 63-83kw/h per day at the moment and averaged 73kw/h per day over the last 2 weeks.

I have 5KW of each, panels and inverter. I have heard the theory of installing more panels than the inverter's rating, as that does help produce more power at lower light levels i.e. dawn and dusk and you won't get into trouble with the power co's, as the inverter will limit the max output to your agreed level, 5KW in my case.

Thanks, but as soon as someone objects to The Guardian as a source, I figure it outs them as being more interested in political ideology than in science.

I wonder if it is possible that there may be something like seasonal changes related to the Galactic year, much like the seasons we experience due to revolving around our star.
I'm not denying that we need to clean up our act. You've just got to smell the exhaust from those sixties, et al, automobiles compared to current vehicles to appreciate how far we've advanced.

I doubt that humankind has enough data to determine how this planet is affected by rotating around the galaxy.
