Today worst day yet been fealing sick all day , can't do anything with out a sick bag, anagdd to get through with out actually using it
Well have moved on from walking frame to clutches, lead to beleave tomorrow they will want me to take on the stairs.
Sounds like progress.
I do find the frame harder to use but the frame is easer to use ewhen getting out of bed
After being in here since Monday worked which pain killer is making me sick s will be going home 110am Sunday after every thing settles down , have meet all the goals with walking
That's good progress. Keep moving, but also rest regularly.
One of the worst things about being partly bed riden is the beda the mattress are vinal covered for health reasons , laying on your back for a week & not being able to lay on your side ect you end up with heat rash on your back & pertenyional of bed sores. I am laying here at 3am typing this trying to resist riping the skin off my back & all they can do to help is put powder on it to dry it out. Think zi will be calling for some powder soon.
You don't realize how unfit you are untill you need to uxe muscles you don't normily use to do cerrtain functions & nded them to do something else ( well you do but keep putting it to the back od your mind) like having to lift my entire 113kg body frame up off the bed to get on your feet because you can not bend your knees & use your leg muscles, using your elbows to move your self around the bed because you can not push with your legs. In hinesite I should been more prepaired & gone to the Gym to drop off some weight & build up my upper body muscles before having the OP , but it all came around quite quick .
So for any one having this OP I would advise going to see some one about excersise 1st so you can get your body ready for the shift in muscle usage. I think i am copimg quite well but the are a couple of things that I need to improve on.
