Having that knee done took the stress of my left knee although now I do seem to be suffering a bit every now and again.
I took none of their pain killers ..oxycodone? or something. The only real problem I had was the cold feeling in my knee at night so I took a hot water bottle to bed.

A lady who had the same op. at the same time pleaded with me for my pain killers.... I think she was well and truly hooked.
Good luck.

Alan, you are one of only 4 people I know of who had virtually no post op pain (thick skin?
), and the poor woman was obviously at the other end of the pain continuum (and there have been plenty). Me as usual somewhere in the middle. I doubt it is as much to do with the skill of the surgeon as to each individuals physiology as it certainly is an extremely invasive procedure. We should be thankful!
