    I've tried fried crickets which were better than expected and tarantula, which was not so tasty.

    The latter is not an insect, no wonder it lacked flavour.

    Hi,
    A Swan Hill restaurant on the Murray River had an indigenous menu when we visited. The Witchety Grub soup was like a creamy mushroom with a subtle nutty flavour.
