Hate to tell you Lemo but no one wants that job 🤣 Done plenty of restumping in the past, and hired people to do it also trust me it is the worst!
Your situation is even harder and therefore more expensive being a pier and beam style build. Also I can imagine the ridiculous engineering requirements that have been called up, how deep do they have to go?

I still remember when it was ALL garden out the front before we renovated, they didnt need driveways when they built them most familys were lucky to even own 1 car back then.

Yeah owner builder, dad’s a retired builder and I’ve built my last house and his with him so will be saving some doing most of the rest myself.

Footings aren’t that special due to being repair only so just standard 400x400x500 deep for the isolated and strip footing is 300x500deep with added trench mesh etc.
Lucky I don’t have to comply with the same as the new part that’s getting added on, footings are ridiculous!! Due to mine subsidence they have to be strip footings and either extend 2.8m out from the building line or 4m one direction from the building line. So lots of concrete in the ground just in case the earth opens up and swallows my house!!

My old place was built in 1890, Had to replace a lot of the bottom plates and it was originally stumped on stumps and rocks. Over the years have pulled up section of floor and restumped and level it up. Had to square up the front door as the old one was about 2 inches higher on the hinged side. Its a long term project, only been here a bit over 30 years, I tell the wife there is no hurry it hasn't fell down yet

My son is lifting, extending and renovating his timber place in Brisbane. Lifting it has added $100k to the cost, but will double the interior space, so he decided it was worthwhile. The builder brought in a team of specialists to do the lift. Not cheap or easy - definitely specialised work. Lots of concrete being poured - lots and lots.

Saw this J-jack solution on telly the other day, supposedly much faster and/or cheaper.

I'm not sure if that's what was used on our sons house, but after everything was disconnected it was lifted in one day.
