It’s pure Land Rovers only for me from now on.

    Cheers all.
IF you want to post ANY contentious issues in the "General Chat" area of the forum not only Will your posts be censured/removed they Deserve to be, There IS an area within the forum these type of issues can be discussed and that's the Currant Affairs section and I strongly suggest that you use that area instead of any other to post your threads.
Pretty much ANY issue can be discussed (Civilly) on CA and if you don't like the replies posted or if other members disagree with your point of view then that is just unfortunate as this is what happens in a democratic society and calling people "Bigots" for Not agreeing with your ideology or having a differing point of view is childish.

Maybe it would have been Wiser to have sent the Mods a message outlining your concerns and letting them make the call instead of posting your complaints in the General Chat area.

Your last line show you don't quite get how the rules work - that topic becomes political instantly which is NOT ALLOWED here. If you want to talk about that, you can in CA or on other forums, not in any general areas here - if you mention is again, it probably won't go down too well.

    He's right you know.

I have been deleted once in my time here (after quite a time absent from here, I hasten to add) & was taken aback & wondered WTF? The reason was explained to me in a PM & that was fine, but I don't bear any malice toward the Mod that scrubbed me nor should I, he was doing his job. It was the rules & I saw how I had overstepped the mark. Simples.

From my observations it needs to be pretty bad to get deleted on here. The filters seem to take good care of most digressions but can't be guaranteed to catch all so needs the human touch to do so

    Just sayin'.

Not just the young'uns either, you are also entitled to mutter about olde Codgers cluttering up Supermarket Checkouts. Welcome to the Club, Mick.

Thanks. I do clutter up supermarket checkouts because I refuse to use self-service checkouts because they take jobs away from checkout chicks, not that I've had any thanks from those checkout chicks, I might add.
I told my middle aged female boss I was a senior citizen, old enough to apply for the pension and allowed to be a grumpy old man. She said she didn't care how grumpy I was as long as I kept working for her for a while yet.

I thought you were going to quote her to say "I hadn't noticed any change, Mick".

'er indoors started off with that belief but eventually she relented just to get out of the joints.

Sure have Paul. During my working life I went into a local Lunch shop & waited & waited & bloody waited while all about me were getting served. Stuff this for a game of soldiers. "Helloooo, am I invisible?" sez me loudly. That got some attention & apologies. My dosh was as good if not better than probably some of those around me.

Funny, but I never darkened their crappy doorstep ever again. Stuff 'em.

Ahhhhh, see that's your problem. You were probably holding dosh to pay instead of holding a phone to tap. Counting change takes time let alone getting it right.
