What is this phone & tapping thing you speak of ferret?

Today that may be a problem, but back then one needed to find a red telephone box first. (remember those?)

Tapping was to arrive in about 20 - 30 years into the future & I was hungry NOW.

My son does it, I've seen him do it a lot. He reckons Apple pays for everything you buy if you tap your phone to a gadget on the store counter.

I'm skeptical, but give it a go next time you buy stuff. Doesn't have to be anything you need, just buy stuff, tap the phone then take all the newly acquired junk you have been give home with you. Steve Jobs sorts it all out later some how.

    Thanks Ferret.

I'm a plastic & PayPal type of guy these days & thank god the Fish & Chippie does Swipe.

Do you think Apple might pay for that as well?

Think it's Elon Musk who pays for all the Pay Pal stuff.

Anyway, you would be better off just manning up and paying for your take away rather than trying to swipe it all the time. Police will probably get involved eventually.

The big green one(phone) was more fun when it came out, shoving some paper up the coin return shoot on the way to school, then pulling it out on the way home.

    All fun and games......

Musk owned 11% of Pay Pal for which he received US$165 million when it was sold to eBay in 2002.

Not surprised, but it matters not to me, I love the convenience & protections but I do wish they wouldn't keep changing/updating their 'Conditions of Use'.
Have only ever had one unfortunate experience but that was only because some obviously shonky, (as it transpired), Seller tried to put one over. Claim promptly paid back in full & Seller hopefully taught a big lesson.

Hhhmmmm very droll Mr Ferret. Hot meat pies were always the worst as it happens. Have you ever tried to do a runner with a steaming hot meat pie in your hand? No, Swiping doesn't pay if you finish up for 2 days in A&E.
