The reopening was on the news not long back, I don't know how much was salvaged.

Do they have crocodile kebabs? Had them in Bangkok - seriously delicious they were. I went back for six.

After 17 long years i’m Returning to Aus in Dec this year but with the family in tow.
we arrive in Perth 2nd Dec & will have a few days catching up with family & friends before heading to Cairns where the kids (2x 13, 11 & 9) will be ‘sat’ whilst SWMBO (She who must be obeyed) head out on a Liveaboard for 4 days.

we then pick up a RV & head to Brisbane over 15 or so days & this is where I need your help.
other than a stop at Mission Beach, Townsville for a 2 tank dive back on the Yongala & plans for Australia Zoo we have nothing as yet planned, a firm believer in local knowledge i’m after info on good campsites, sights not to miss, beaches to find, places to eat & things to do with the kids. As long as i’m In Brisbane for the 27th to catch the flight to Sydney i’m Open to suggestions.
I’ve into’d myself in the correct section & also stuck a post on the FB page but please feel free to shout up if you can spare the time or have any thoughts.
the kids will be doing a presentation at school on their return & we’d like to make this trip educational as well as fun.
i’ll also Stick a post up in ‘Members Rides’ & introduce you to ‘Frosty’ my MY15 D4 HSE Lux.

    Thanks in advance.
    Paul
Check this out. If you have time I recommend the Town of 1770, just north of Bundaberg.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
